Worksheets are given regularly and the students are assessed based on these worksheets and other means of evaluation.

Class I – V

 There is one Evaluation Test for each subject in each term.

PROMOTION CRITERIA

PROMOTION CRITERIA FOR CLASSES 6 TO 8

 

  • Student must score 33% Marks out of 20, i.e. 7 marks for each subject in Periodic Assessment and 33% Marks out of 80, i.e. 27 marks for each subject in Annual Examination.
  • 75% attendance for the whole academic year.
  • Marks of third language will not be considered for promotion.
  • If a child fails only in ONE subject, he/she can be promoted.
  • If a child fails in TWO or MORE subjects, results will be withheld and he/she may be promoted with Parents’ undertaking subject to` scoring Minimum Pass Mark in the Retest.

 

PROMOTION CRITERIA FOR CLASS 9

 

  • Student must score 33% Marks out of 20, i.e. 7 marks for each subject in Periodic Assessment and 33% Marks out of 80, i.e. 27 marks for each subject in Annual Examination.
  • 75% attendance for the whole academic year.
  • If a child fails in ONE subject, he/she will be conditionally promoted with a retest and Parents’ undertaking.
  • If a child fails in TWO or MORE subjects, he/she will be detained in the same class.
