The 70th Republic Day of India was celebrated in all its solemnity and fervor at Indian School Jalan. The function began with the National Anthem of India. The President, SMC and the Chief Guest on the occasion stated that it was this day the people of India were bestowed with constitutional rights. He reminded that the people got freedom to choose their leader whereas the leader has the liberty to rule the country within the framework of the constitution. He read out ‘the excerpts of the President of India’s message to the nation on the Eve of Republic Day’.
